Diane has recently returned from her holiday in Sorrento.
She stayed in Sant’Angelo, a clifftop town perched midway along the Sorrentino Peninsula.
It’s easy to fill your days here, lingering over a plate of pasta, sipping espresso in one of the trendy cafés, or hiking out into the hills that spread for miles around. Away from the peaceful piazzas, you’ve got lively Sorrento’ s Piazza Tasso just 2 kms away.
Whilst away, Diane visited the stunning Amalfi coast and Positano by boat. The Island of Capri, and explored Pompeii – the city covered by volcanic dust from Mount Vesuvius in AD79 .
