My Skiathos Getaway
A lovely holiday taken on the beautiful island of Skiathos, to relax and recharge my batteries, very chilled and worth a visit.
A picturesque Greek island staying in the south- west of the island resort of Koukounaries a quiet resort on the south-western coast of Skiathos. Koudounaries Beach Known for its fine, golden sand and clear, shallow waters, it’s often considered one of the best beaches on the island. The beach is backed by a fragrant pine forest, which adds to its picturesque setting and provides shade.
An 8-minute walk from Maratha Beach, this upscale hotel on a pine-covered hillside is 3 km from Koukounaries Beach and 14 km from the 1794 Evangelistria Monastery. The modern, airy rooms feature minibars, free Wi-Fi, and satellite TV, plus balconies with sea views. Upgraded rooms add living areas and furnished verandas. Suites have extra bedrooms and bathrooms. Kids age 12 and younger stay at no charge. Room service is available. A breakfast buffet and parking are free. There is also a regular bus service to Skiathos Town, available from outside of the hotel and a courtesy bus to Skiathos Town, a vibrant and cosmopolitan town known for its charming, whitewashed houses, narrow streets, and lively harbour. offering a blend of traditional charm and modern amenities, with plenty of bars, restaurants, and nightlife options. The town also boasts a rich history. so perfect for exploring, enjoying an evening meal and a glass of wine whilst people watching.
