What an amazing hidden gem. I was lucky enough to lead a walking group in this beautiful part of Ireland.
The scenery is stunning and the huge deserted sandy beaches were incredible. We enjoyed amazing Irish
hospitality including a few pints of Guinness as well as the odd piece of cake. One of our walks took us to Tory Island just off the coast where we met the elected ‘King of Tory’ and saw the incredible bird cliffs. We are going again in May 2019 on two different Regent group trips- do join us.
Croatia has become one of the fastest growing holiday resorts in terms of tourist numbers and I can see why.
In the north Rovinj is a stunning coastal town with a beautiful harbour lined with wonderful restaurants. Rovinj
is a lovely mixture of both Venice and Dubrovnik. The narrow, ancient streets in the old town are lined with small
craft shops. There are some lovely hotels like the Eden and the Monte Milini – just 10 minutes walk into town in the evening. If you would like to more about Rovinj pop in and talk to David.
